BREAST AESTHETICS

BREAST LIFT AND RESHAPING

It's a surgical procedure that removes excess, loose skin from breasts that have sagged due to various factors, such as pregnancy, weight gain and loss, or age, reshapes the breast tissue by moving the nipple to its proper position and reshaping it. If there's significant sagging and excess skin in the breast, non-surgical methods won't be effective.

This surgical procedure involves removing excess and loose skin from breasts that have sagged due to various factors, such as pregnancy, weight gain and loss, or age, repositioning the nipple to its proper position, and reshaping the breast tissue. If there is significant sagging and excess skin in the breast, non-surgical methods will not be effective.

Good results are also achieved in patients with asymmetry between the breasts with a lift and/or reduction procedure.
Under general anesthesia, a surgical approach extending from the nipple and/or the lower breast fold is used to remove excess skin and, if necessary, breast tissue. The sagging tissue is then lifted and fixed towards the upper half of the breast. The surgery aims to create a natural breast cone that appears full and firm.

In some patients, breast implants can be used to compensate for insufficient breast tissue and increase the fullness of the upper half of the breast. For individuals with small or mild sagging, breast implants alone can be used to address the problem.

The procedure, performed under general anesthesia, takes approximately one to three hours. A hospital stay of at least six to eight hours is recommended after the surgery. Returning to social life is possible within three to five days. Physical activities that could alter the results of surgery should be avoided for approximately four to eight weeks. Possible adverse events include infection, bleeding, sensory disturbances, and minimal asymmetry.
